Why are SGS coins Graded MS70 and PR70?
As I have learned, the source of their coins are US Mint Sets; and since US Mint Sets have never been in circulation or touched by human hands, they are "perfect" - fresh from the Mint. It is a grading philosophy adopted by SGS; and although not without good reason, it does ignore the fact that every coin produced by the Mint is not itself "perfect".
So, eventhough you may not be buying a truly perfect coin, it truly has never been touched or ever in circulation. They are all Gem BU.

When your coin collection reaches that "certain point", then you too can send in your coins for grading, I suggest one of the "Top Four".
